Pray Continually

In the Mothers’ Union we aim to promote and encourage Christian family life. The bedrock of our movement is prayer. Join us in our commitment to prayer and faith in action

Faith and Policy enable us to:

  • Worship and pray together.
  • Translate prayer into action.
  • Engage with Scripture creatively
  • Articulate our faith confidently
  • Research issues affecting Christian marriage and family
  • Support each other in any situation using our Gospel values
  • Share and learn from each others experiences
  • Understand our vocations using our God-given talents
  • Understand the mission of the MU
  • Commit the MU to renewed faith, service, reflection and action
In KEA diocese the Faith and Policy Unit co-ordinates:
  • The Indoor Members Prayer Circle
  • Quiet Days
  • Annual Festival Services
  • Tea Parties for Senior Members
  • Provide Branch Worship Resources

Prayer Chain – This is made up of members who will pray for anyone suffering illness or who has a particular problem. Short or long term, there is such a feeling of support to know someone is praying for you. It really does make a difference
.
Wave of Prayer - The wave of prayer is a calendar of prayer in which the branches and dioceses of the Mothers’ Union worldwide pray for each other. We appear in the Wave of Prayer during October 11th-15th along with Esan, Ikka, Kajiado, Mauritius and Seychelles.
